It was reported that after General Motors (GM) reached an agreement with its own plant located at São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Brazil.

GM currently is going to expand its investment of total amount of roughly 5 billion reais, including salary freeze annually. Especially, the wage will be added to by less than the market inflation rate and the flexible arrangement for working hours.

Meanwhile, GM further referred that it scheduled to reinvest about 10 billion reais between 2020 and 2024 after it had invested around 13 billion reais in Brazil.

As a remarkable achievement in 2018, sales performance of GM’s light automobile in Brazil had a total sale of around 4.34 million vehicles, piling up by 10% over 2017.
