It is reported that Outokumpu, global leader in stainless steel with cold rolling in Finland, announced its 2016 stainless steel sales volume last week, the company sold 2.44 million tons of stainless steel products, increased 2.6% compared with the same period last year.

Among them, cold-rolled was 1.73 million tons, white hot-rolled strip was 425,000 tons, four-rolled steel plate was 100,000 tons, long products 65,000 tons, stainless steel semi-finished products was 247,000 tons, stainless steel tube was 1,000 tons.

For the Ferrochrome part, its 2016 sales volume were 126,000 tons, fell 1.6% from 128,000 tons compared with last period year. But the production volume increased 17.2% to 109,000 tons during the same time.
