The European Commission has imposed duties up to 66.7% on Chinese imports of mobile access equipment (MAE), citing unfair subsidies and artificially low pricing.

The combined anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duties (CVD), ranging from 20.6% to 66.7% on China’s MAE, aim to protect EU producers in the over EUR 1 billion annual market.

The EU found Chinese MAE producers benefited from preferential financing and below-market input costs, leading to a surge in their market share at prices around 20% lower than EU competitors. Chinese companies like Hunan Sinoboom, Zoomlion, and Zhejiang Dingli will be affected.
