Chinese market price of carbon steel cold rolled sheets and coils increased in Shanghai on Thursday due to low stock levels.

The price of cold rolled sheet with thickness 1.2 and 2.0mm from Ansteel is currently at between RMB6,850 and 6,870/ton, showing a hike of RMB30/ton compared with the previous day. And thickness 3.0mm is prevailing at RMB7,450/ton, increasing by RMB50/ton compared with the previous day.

Regarding the cold rolled coil, the price with 1.0mm thickness from MaSteel is at RMB6,800/ton, and thickness 1.0mm from Hansteel and Baosteel is currently at between RMB6,750 and 6,780/ton.
