According to statistics released by China’s customs, China exported 218,724 tons of stainless steel products in March, surging by 51.94% from a month earlier and increasing by 1.32% year on year.

Among them, 137,596 tons were stainless steel flat products, soaring by 39.44%; 21,171 tons were stainless steel tubes, increasing by 87.47%; 47,564 tons were stainless steel section, rising by 72.62%; 11,392 tons were stainless steel strips, jumping by 72.62%, all compared to that in a month earlier.

Meanwhile, China’s imports of stainless steel products totaled 63,462 tons in March, down by 1.87% month on month and falling by 31.46% year on year.
