Reportedly, the Kaliningrad Industrial Policy Minister Qiema gold said on March 28th that China's Heilongjiang Steel Pipe Plant will pour RUB550 million to set up facilities in Kaliningrad.

He pointed out that the Chinese investor planned to build a plant in Kaliningrad, mainly to produce high-strength pipe, drill pipe and drilling rigs.

He added that Kaliningrad was chosen by the Chinese company mainly because it owned the advantages of good logistics and transport conditions, and rail and sea transport.

The company planned that 60% of the products produced in Kaliningrad will be supplied to meet Russian domestic needs and 40% will be for exports.
