China Steel Corp (CSC) will announce its new price for bar and wire rod early of April.

The company is expected to hike price by up to NT$1,500/ton due to higher raw material costs. The iron ore contract price is likely to increase by more than 60 percent this year which will add another US$100/ton extra costs for CSC.

Therefore, the company is very likely to raise price by NT$1,200~1,500/ton for bar and wire rod in April.
