Chance Aluminum, an aluminum producer based in Williamsport, Pennsylvania and the sister company to Florida-based AA Metals, has acquired the closed JW Aluminum facility in Williamsport recently and planned to invest over US$18.5 million to set up an aluminum rolling mill, focusing on the production of aluminum foil and other common alloy coils.

Besides, the facility will be equipped with new equipment and transformed into a fully integrated, most advanced aluminum rolling mill.

Dr. Jack Cheng, CEO and President of AA Metals and Chance Aluminum, said that around 100 new jobs will be created in the next 12 months.
