The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) initiated a normal value and export price review on certain carbon steel welded pipes exported to Canada from Vietnam’s SeAH Steel Vina Corporation (SeAH Vietnam) and the UAE’s Universal Tube & Plastic Industries Ltd. (UTP). The review was to update all normal values and export prices of the subject goods.

The existing anti-dumping (AD) duties faced by Vietnam and the UAE’s exporters and producers of welded pipes is 54.2%.

The products involved are under the tariff classification numbers 7306.30.00.10, 7306.30.00.20, and 7306.30.00.30.
