The Brazilian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association (Anfavea) has expected a better outlook in 2007.

There were around 250,000 vehicles made in this March, which is the top record in Brazil. The number is a around 21 percent higher than this February and 7 percent than last year in the same period of time.

Steel makers are all positive to the strong demand especially for the flat products at least in the first quarter.

Among the production, trucks had increased with around 11,000 units, around 27 percent higher than February and 12 percent up from last March.

In a whole, the car production will increase to 2.2 million units this year, increasing by 14.5 percenter compared with 2006.

Anfavea set it's forecast for exports of US$2.1 billion in 2007.
