Gheorghe Dobra, general manager of Alro, said that in order to maintain operational efficiency in the highly competitive international market, the company has been committed to reduce energy consumption. The investment is not only in the equipment also includes research and development projects, prompting the company to become one of the most energy-saving enterprises in the aluminum industry.

The investment projects in 2016 include improving the processing capacity of EcoCastHouse waste to reach 90000 tons per year. In addition, the company will invest to improve the energy efficiency of existing processes.

Alro adjusted net profit for the first quarter of this year was 41 million RON, the same period in 2015 was 23 million RON in addition to energy efficiency investment, this year, Alro will continue to invest in expanding customer product line by increasing processing capacity.
