China’s Tisco announced that they will be increasing the price of hot rolled coil to the South Korean market. The price of stainless steel 300 series hot rolled coil to South Korea has increased by about US$200/mt FOB compared to the price of last month. Cold rolled coil prices have been raised by US$270/mt FOB from last month’s prices. Other stainless steel mills are also expected to follow the move from Tisco and increase their prices. The market is expected to remain stable during July. (June 15)
