According to the US Department of Commerce's final census data, February 2025 saw a 5% month-on-month decrease and a 0.7% year-on-year drop in US standard pipe imports, totaling around 58,200 tons, with value falling to approximately US$65 million. 

Canada was the largest supplier, shipping around 13,300 tons, though this marked a decline from both January 2025 and February 2024 levels. Other key import sources included Mexico (8,900 tons), Turkey (7,600 tons), and the UAE (6,400 tons). 

The data highlighted a continued downward trend in both volume and value for standard pipe imports.
