Allegheny Steel Distributors. Inc., Indianola, Pa., has placed an order of a heavy-gauge cut-to-length line with dual precision levelers. The order was placed with Genesis Worldwide II Inc unit, Herr-Voss Stamco. The carbon steel processing line is expected to be in operation by mid 2006. It will be able to process carbon steel coils of up to 60,000 pounds and 74 inches wide in a thickness range of 0.06 to 0.375 inch. The order from Allegheny, a division of Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co., Los Angeles, includes commissioning and responsibility for complete turnkey installation, including foundations. (Oct. 6)
