Vietnam Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation (FHS), one of the largest steelmakers in Vietnam, announced to drop its hot-rolled coil (HRC) price by US$10/ton slightly for April on February 15th.

Affected by the international decreasing trend, the Vietnamese import scrap price and Japanese domestic scrap price both went down.

Therefore, the billet offers also reduced in April.

According to understanding, FHS's billet offer was around US$420/ton to northern Vietnam and around US$425/ton to southern Vietnam in April.
