Tubos Reunidos Group, a Spain-based manufacturer of seamless steel pipes, has secured contracts exceeding EUR 26.5 million from India's public company, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL). The two orders demonstrated Tubos Reunidos's capability in producing high-quality, high-performance seamless steel tubes, including specialized alloys with unique dimensions that few global manufacturers can supply.

The pipes will be manufactured primarily at the company's Trápaga plant in Bizkaia, with some production also coming from Amurrio in Álava. The first order is currently being delivered, and the second is expected to be delivered in the second half of the year.

These agreements position Tubos Reunidos to benefit from India's rapidly expanding energy market, which aims to add 80 GW of power by 2030, raising its current installed capacity by 30%.
