Taiwan's China Steel Corp. has announced to cut its steel wire and bar price by NT$1,363/MT (about US$45/MT) in July and August, the dropping wire and bar price may help Taiwan's screw manufacturers to cost down and get for more export orders in Q3.

Taiwan's Chun Yu Group said even though its oversea buyers may request the price cut on its screw products, the reduced raw material cost will still help them win for more orders from oversea markets.

Tyscoons Group said CSC's price cut will cause them have to reduce its wire prices also, but it will still benefit for Tyscoons Group's screw product sales.
