Baosteel Stainless, one of the major stainless steel producers in China announced to raise its domestic prices for 300 grades hot rolled stainless steel coils by RMB200/ton for September, driven by higher spot market levels.

Meanwhile, the company decided to remain its prices for austenitic and ferritic cold rolled coils unchanged.

After the adjustment, its prices for 304 grades hot rolled coils with thickness of 3mm are at RMB16,300/ton; those for 304 grades cold rolled coils with thickness of 2mm are at RMB17,600/ton.
