Mr. I-Shou Lin, the president of Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco), the largest stainless steel manufacturer in Taiwan said that the global stainless steel market might recover gradually next year after staying weak for a long.

Meanwhile, the LME nickel prices have increased again to reach US$17,752/ton on December 11st.

It’s expected that the Taiwanese stainless steel mills including Yusco and Tang Eng may have chance to raise the prices again in next January if nickel prices stay firmly at the current level or keep rising.
