According to report, the Indonesian state-owned steel company PT Krakatau Steel posted that its Q3 net profits increased to about US$ 116 million, up slightly by 3.24% in comparison of that in the same period of last year.

Moreover, its revenue surged by 6.53% to Rp 12.65 trillion in the Q3 from 11.88 trillion and its operating costs soared by 6.68%, both compared to that in the same period of a year earlier.

The falling steel prices caused the small rise in profit, according to the president of the company.
