NLMK plans to upgrade facilities at its Danish plant
Reportedly, Russia’s NLMK planned to invest about €100 million to enhance its plate rolling mill 4200 at NLMK DanSteel, its subsidiary in Denmark.
The company planned to upgrade its product level and change the production of material of higher steel grade. The new upgrade project is expected to be completed by the end of 2012.
Currently, NLMK DanSteel is able to supply material to meet the sectors including wind power plants, shipbuilding, and manufacturing of high pressure vessels.
Meanwhile, Russia’s NLMK also expected to upgrade the annual production of the Danish plant to 700 thousand tons by 2014.
