European stainless mills to reduce base prices

European stainless steel mills have announced to reduce 304 CR with thickness 2.0mm base price by €200~250/mt for May delivery due to plentiful stock at mills and stockist.

The current base price for 304 CR from medium distributors in South Europe is about €1,600~1,700/mt while in North Europe is about €1,700~1,800/mt and the alloy surcharge is about €2,595~2,637/mt in April.

However, the base price in South Europe has come down to €1,350/mt while North Europe base price drop to €1500~1550/mt for month May.
