Spain’s Sidenor Group has acquired Barcelona-based industrial scrap and waste recycling company Eplus as part of its decarbonization and sustainability initiatives.

Eplus operates on a 2,000-square-meter site, processing ferrous and non-ferrous metals, paper, cardboard, and plastics for reuse in steel and other industries.

Earlier in 2024, Sidenor acquired Miguel Martín to secure its scrap supply. In 2022, the company purchased Valencia-based Aguilar Metal Recycling.
