Taiwan raises AD duty rate on zinc-coated steel from China’s Fujian Kaijing

According to an announcement from Taiwan’s Customs Administration, regarding the case of the anti-dumping (AD) review on certain flat-rolled steel products, plated or coated with zinc or zinc alloys, from China, the duty rate for Fujian Kaijing New Technology Material Co., Ltd. was revised to 4.72%, up from the original 0%, as the review team determined that the dumping facts of Fujian Kaijing have changed.

The new duty is effective on November 27, 2024, valid until September 13, 2027.

This AD case was based on the application filed by China Steel Corp. (CSC), Prosperity Tieh Enterprise, Sheng Yu Steel, Yieh Phui, Chung Hung Steel, and Synn Industrial.
