Belgium-based NLMK Clabecq, a subsidiary of Russia's NLMK Group, has introduced its "InThinity" technology to produce high-precision quarto-heavy plates.

Following a modernization of its finishing mill, completed in late 2023, NLMK Clabecq has enhanced rolling accuracy and energy efficiency, allowing it to supply steel plates with thicknesses up to 15 mm.

This technology meets the needs of industries such as transportation, construction, and energy for narrow-tolerance thin steel plates.

NLMK Europe-Plate Chief Commercial Officer Peter Selbach highlighted that this precision standard reinforces NLMK's position as a top-quality steel supplier and supports manufacturers in achieving improved operational performance.
