Brazil initiates second AD duty sunset review on non-oriented electrical steel from Taiwan, China & South Korea

According to the announcement from the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC), on July 12, Brazil launched a second anti-dumping duty (AD) sunset review on non-oriented electrical steel imported from China, Taiwan, and South Korea. The product under investigation will be classified into 7225.19.00 and 7226.19.00.

The dumping investigation period will be from October 2022 to September 2023, and the injury investigation period will be from October 2018 to September 2023. Currently, the AD for these three countries ranges from US$90-166.32/ton
