Ukraine's scrap purchase quantity drop, exports soar in Apr m-o-m

According to the Ukrainian Association of Secondary Metals (UAVtormet), Ukraine purchased approximately 137,000 tons of scrap in April, falling by 18.7% from the previous month and 5% from the same period a year ago.

However, Ukraine exported roughly 26,000 tons of scrap during the same time, sparing by 25% from last month and skyrocketing by 62% year on year. This was the highest record since the beginning of the Ukrainian-Russian war.
