Indonesian mining company PT Adhi Kartiko Pratama aimed to produce up to 2.5 million tons of nickel ore by 2023, an increase of 40% compared to the estimate for this year.

The company's increase in its production target for 2023 was related to improved resources to ensure that the AKP nickel reserves increase to 25 million tons, and the mine life has also raised to ten years from the previous expected nine years.

Besides, the company has also adjusted its new management structure. There were seven departments operating in the past, but now it increased to ten departments, which was aimed to increase the operational efficiency of companies operating in Lameruru Village, Southeast Sulawesi.
