Taiwan CSC’s revenue slides in Aug m-o-m, y-o-y

13 Sep 2022 14:56 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
China Steel Corporation (CSC), the largest carbon steel manufacturer in Taiwan, reported that its revenue was around NT$36.27 billion in August, declining by 7.37% compared to the previous month and by 13.05% from the same month a year ago.

In the first eight months of this year, CSC’s revenue amounted to roughly NT$324.08 billion, a year-on-year increase of 9.24%.

CSC’s performance in the fourth quarter was expected to become better after the export sales and prices recover due to a rebound in Europe and the US markets, order diversions caused by POSCO’s fire accident, as well as higher export quotations from Taiwan.
