Colombia terminates AD sunset review on wire rod imports from China

On June 4, 2021, the Colombian Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism announced that it has decided to terminate the sunset review investigation of anti-dumping (AD) on low carbon wire rod of iron or non-alloy steel or of other alloyed steels originating in China, following the request filed by Acerías Paz del Río S.A. to withdraw the investigation application, and the Ministry also terminated the AD duties determined on May 11, 2016 and extended on May 7, 2021.

The products involved are classified under HS codes 7213.91.90.10, 7213.91.10.10, 7227.90.00.11, and 7227.90.00.90.
