US schedules expedited review on CTL carbon steel plate from 3 countries
13 May 2021 15:14 reported by Joy Liu
The US International Trade Commission (USITC) announced to schedule an expedited five-year review to determine whether the withdrawal of the existing anti-dumping (AD) duty order on cut-to-length carbon steel plates from China and the termination of the suspended investigations on these products from Russia and Ukraine would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time.
All interested parties can submit a brief written statement regarding the reviews by May 20, 2021.
In early March, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) said that the termination of the suspended investigation of the current AD duty measure might lead to a weighted average dumping margin of 128.59% for China, 185% for Russia, and 237.91% for Ukraine.
