EU & UK's Q2 quota of hollow profile nearly exhausted

The EU and the UK used a large number of the quota of hollow profiles for the second quarter. The countries that used most of the duty-free quotas included Belarus, Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine, and quotas for other countries have been exhausted. At present, only Switzerland and North Macedonia have quotas of hollow profiles.
The duty-free quota of hollow profile totaled more than 200,000 tons for the second quarter. The usage status of hollow profiles has been fully utilized in the UK and Turkey.
The EU and UK authorities have not announced the extension of the steel safeguard measure.
