Brazil to improve approval process for exploration permits

It was reported that Brazil’s National Mining Agency (ANM) launched a public hearing on April 26, aiming to further improve the approval process of exploration permits on an online application system of digital mineral exploration permits launched in 2020, which can reduce the processing time from an average 728 days to 34 days.

ANM intended to further optimize the system to reduce the existing bureaucratic behavior.
