Brazilian mining company CSN increases iron ore production in Q1 q-o-q, y-o-y

According to the production and sales report for the first quarter of 2021 released by the Brazilian mining company CSN, the total iron ore output of CSN in the first quarter increased by 42.4% year on year to 8.4 million tons, an increase of 7% from the previous quarter.
Iron ore sales increased by 46.6% year on year to around 8.23 million tons but fell by 4.7% from the previous quarter. Among them, domestic sales in Brazil decreased by 28.8% year on year to around 1.29 million tons, an increase of 28.9% quarter on quarter. Sales in overseas markets increased by 53.4% year on year to roughly 6.9 million tons, a quarter-on-quarter decrease of 9.2%.
