USITC makes affirmative AD & CVD preliminary ruling on prestressed concrete steel wire strands

It was reported that on May 29th, 2020, the US International Trade Commission (USITC) made an affirmative preliminary ruling on the anti-dumping industrial damage against prestressed concrete steel wire strand (PC strand) imported from Argentina, Colombia, Egypt, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, the UAE, and Taiwan, and it also made an affirmative ruling on the countervailing industrial damage against the above-mentioned products imported from Turkey.
The USITC ruled that the products involved caused substantial damage to the US domestic industry.
Based on the affirmative decision of the USITC, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) will continue to conduct anti-dumping and countervailing investigations on the products involved.
A preliminary countervailing ruling will be made before July 10th, 2020, and an anti-dumping ruling will be made before September 23rd, 2020.
The US Harmonized Tariff Code of the products involved are 7312.10.3010 and 7312.10.3012.
