China's stainless steel market to gradually return to normal
6 Apr 2020 13:28 reported by Joy Liu
China’s stainless steel supply and demand were affected by the coronavirus epidemic, coupled with the blocked domestic logistics and transportation, the short-term stainless steel market will be operated with slight adjustments.
The impact on China’s stainless steel market was mainly concentrated in the first quarter, especially in February and March, and the market will become better in the second half of this year.
Although the outbreak of the coronavirus affected stainless steel demand, the impact on the annual demand was limited due to a series of policies in China.
It was expected that the stainless steel market in China will return to normal gradually after the epidemic, and the overall performance in 2020 will be the same or even slightly better than last year.
