India & US expect to start new trade negotiation

On August 19th, Donald Trump had a call with India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and both hoped to meet each other to discuss the trade agreement issue.
As the announcement from the Indian government, India hoped to make a trade agreement with the US to strengthen the economic connection between each other and also exchange the opinions on the issue of the regional conflict such as Kashmir.
This June, Indian lost the status of generalized system preference (GSP), and it caused the Indian companies needed to pay for the high tariff when they exported their products to the US.
Although it had led both sides into nervous at that time, both were willing to restart the negotiation of the trade conflict and improve the relationship between both countries now.
