Tanzania government studying tariffs adjustment on steel imports

According to reports, when the Southern African Development Community (SADC) delegation visited the local industry in Mkuranga, Tanzania, the director of the industry appealed to the government to raise the tariff on steel imports from the current 25% to 35%.

The delegation's representative responded that the government was studying and dealing with it.
