Chinese & South Korean companies prefer to lower manganese purchasing prices

Recently, the international political situations were unstable and the current economic situation was not ideal. The market had seen low demand and excess supply.

Accordingly, manganese price was affected by the market to drop somewhat. Among them, Chinese companies, such as Baosteel, Hesteel Group and Maanshan Iron & Steel (Masteel), had lowered their prices.

In addition, South Korean POSCO lowered its purchase prices for a manganese tender in August, and the firm might cut its prices in the near future.
