WBMS: Global primary aluminum market has supply shortage of 108,700 tons in Oct

According to the latest report from the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS), the global supply of primary aluminum was short of demand by 108,700 tons in October. Production totaled 6.0154 million tons, while consumption was 6.1241 million tons.

In the first ten months of the year, the cumulative supply shortfall was 955,500 tons. During this period, global production was 61.2165 million tons, lower than the consumption of 62.172 million tons.
