Vallourec sells Déville-Lès-Rouen site to VINCI Immobilier for redevelopment

Vallourec, a global leader in premium seamless tubular solutions in France, announced that it has inked an exclusive sale agreement with VINCI Immobilier to sell its Déville-lès-Rouen site.

Vallourec began the major decontamination and rehabilitation process of the site in 2023, then initiated a sale tender in September 2024.

VINCI Immobilier's proposal, selected after competitive applications due to its consistency with Vallourec’s expectations, transforms the site into a business hub aiming to create 300 jobs with turnkey buildings for local companies.

The plan also includes rewilding a portion of the site, developing 25% into green spaces, and restoring the Cailly River to its natural state. Besides, the disused railway line will be offered to the Métropole Rouen Normandie and become part of a future Cailly urban walkway.

The final transfer is expected in 2026, pending necessary regulatory steps.
