USITC announces results of five-year review on light-walled rectangular pipe and tube

6 Aug 2026 16:26 reported by Layla Nguyen

A A A
The US International Trade Commission (USITC) announced the results of its five-year (sunset) reviews concerning imports of light-walled rectangular pipe and tube from China, South Korea, Mexico, and Turkey.

The Commission determined that revoking the existing anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders would likely lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US domestic industry within a reasonably foreseeable time.

Based on these determinations, the AD duty orders on imports of light-walled rectangular pipe and tube from China, South Korea, Mexico, and Turkey, as well as the CVD order on imports from China, will remain in effect in accordance with US law.
