US preliminarily sets AD margins on Mexico’s heavy walled rectangular pipes

The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced preliminary results of its administrative review regarding anti-dumping (AD) duties on heavy walled rectangular pipes and tubes from Mexico. The review covers the period from September 1, 2023, to August 31, 2024.

The USDOC determined that Mexican exporters sold products below normal value during the review period. Estimated dumping margins include 7.42% for Productos Laminados de Monterrey S.A. de C.V. and 31.23% for Forza Steel S.A. de C.V. A rate of 16.81% applies to other non-examined Mexican firms.

Besides, the USDOC rescinded the review for 12 companies that had no reviewable entries during this review period.
