US issues preliminary zero dumping margin for South Korean wire rod producer POSCO

14 Aug 2026 16:55 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) preliminarily determined that South Korean producer POSCO and POSCO International Corporation (collectively, POSCO) did not sell carbon and alloy steel wire rod in the US below normal value.

Covering the review period from May 1, 2024, to April 30, 2025, the administrative review resulted in a weighted-average dumping margin of 0.00% for the company.

The investigation scope includes specific hot-rolled carbon and alloy steel products in coils with a round cross section measuring under 19.00 mm in actual solid cross-sectional diameter.

Interested parties are invited to submit comments on the preliminary findings.
