On August 3, 2026, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced the third anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) sunset reviews concerning seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line, and pressure pipe imported from China.

Simultaneously, the US International Trade Commission (USITC) launched an injury investigation to determine if revoking existing AD and CVD measures on these products would likely lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the domestic industry.

Interested parties must register their intent to participate with the USDOC within 10 days of publication. Submissions to the USITC are due by September 2, 2026, with adequacy comments required by October 16, 2026.
