The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) extended its anti-dumping (AD) duty orders on prestressed concrete steel wire strand (PC strand) from Brazil, India, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, and Thailand. Additionally, a countervailing duty (CVD) order remains in place for imports originating in India. These trade defense measures officially entered their continuation period effective June 2, 2026.

The authority determined that removing these restrictions would likely lead to a recurrence of unfair dumping, countervailable subsidies, and subsequent material injury to domestic manufacturers.

Consequently, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will continue collecting cash deposits at the established rates for all incoming shipments of these products.

The products involved include covered and uncovered non-stainless, non-galvanized steel strands used in prestressed concrete applications. These goods are under HS codes 7312.10.3010 and 7312.10.3012.
