Steel pipe producer TMK successfully produced its first industrial batch of large-diameter pipes with a weather-resistant coating at the Vysota 239 workshop.

The initial delivery comprised approximately 500 tons of 820 mm diameter pipes. The protective technology shields against temperature fluctuations, ultraviolet radiation, and moisture through a specialized multi-layer application process involving powder spraying, gelling, and precise water cooling. Production lines underwent equipment retrofitting and spray gun modifications to accommodate the technique.

Managing Director Evgeny Gubanov said that engineering expertise and facility investments enable the enterprise to expand its product range and respond rapidly to customer demands.
