Asian cold-rolled steel prices ticked down due to falling hot-rolled prices and weak buying interest. In Taiwan, quotes from China and South Korea are absent from the market because China Steel Corporation (CSC) filed an anti-dumping (AD) lawsuit against them.

Downstream buyers closely watch for the final ruling. CSC sources said that the case is in progress with additional data being submitted, making the official announcement date hard to predict, though market rumors point to a release shortly after the Dragon Boat Festival.

In China, domestic demand stays relatively stable, providing price support, and upcoming steel mill maintenance could limit supply. Asian inquiries come mostly from Africa and the Middle East, though transactions are absent amid generally weak purchasing activity.
