Tata Steel is accelerating its growth strategy in India, aiming to expand its annual production capacity by 7 million tons through investments in existing facilities. Tata Steel is confident in its ability to expand domestic demand.

According to CEO T. V. Narendran, the company's annual production capacity in India has already reached 25 million tons, and several expansion projects are underway at various plants across the country.

Narendran emphasized that Tata Steel is not currently considering new mergers or acquisitions, but rather prioritizing the development of its existing footprint. The focus is on efficiently expanding its scale through existing assets, rather than investing in entirely new sites.
