According to Taiwan Customs import and export data, the export volume of welded steel pipes in January 2026 was 20,883 tons, a 14% increase from 18,378 tons in December of the previous year. However, exports to the United States decreased by 13%.
In January, the United States was Taiwan's top export destination for welded steel pipes, receiving 15,112 tons, followed by Australia with 1,259 tons. Additionally, the import volume of steel pipes in January totaled 53,831 tons, with India ranking first at 51,988 tons and Vietnam second at 2,985 tons.
